artCry Out America : Livingston Parish 9/11 Remembrance
Never forget! All ages are invited and encouraged to attend this moving ceremony to be held on the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on America, 11:45 am-1:00 pm, Sept. 11. Parish Council Chambers, 20355 Government Blvd., Livingston. Public officials, law enforcement, emergency services personnel, military, judiciary, clerics and local individuals will participate. Old South Jamboree entertains in Walker

Grand Country Junction
Come out to the Grand Country Junction on the third Saturday of each month for a night of great Branson-style country music entertainment with Danny Harrell and the Nashville Edition and the Junction cast. Tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for children ages 4-12, and children 3 and under are free. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m. Grand Country Junction is at the Suma Crossing Theatre in Satsuma at the I-12 Exit 19. Movie Tavern introduces Retro Cinema and weekly bar events
Just in time to beat the heat, Movie Tavern at Juban Crossing Denham Springs, presents its Retro Cinema lineup. This special programming series will feature beloved movie classics every other Tues. and Wed., 7:30 p.m., “Dirty Dancing” (Aug. 22 & 23) and “Back to the Future” (Sept. 5 & 6).
